Introduction

It was the summer of 1982 - I had been called up into the Israeli army and after a week of fighting I found myself overlooking Beirut.

At home my wife Betty had given birth to our first daughter Rama Bronwyn Salinger - I realized that I was a father but I knew so little about my own father.

The results of my researches that began way back in 1982 can be seen here.

I dedicate these pages to my 3 wonderful children Rama, Udi and Dania so that they will know "where they came from"
